Commencement ceremony on Mar. 27th.

Mr. Katoh got M. E. degree. Mr. Oka and Mr. Chiba got B. E. degree. Congratulations!

Mr. Katoh's farewell party on Mar. 8th.

Mr. Katoh will graduate from Tohoku University in end of this month．So we hold farewell party. Our laborlatory's member present him with shoe shining kit．
We wish his every success!

Presentations at 31st multiple-valued logic and its application (Japanese) on Jan. 6th.

Dr. Suzuki, Mr. Suda, Mr. Nishino and Mr. Mukaida had a research presentation at 31st multiple-valued logic and its application (Japanese) in Meiji Univ., Tokyo, Japan.

Laboratory opposition Ekiden Convention ＆ Oden party on Nov. 11th.

We attend the annual Ekiden Convention with Sato lab.'s member and Horio lab.'s member and complete the full distance in safety. In the afternoon, we held Oden party for the after party.
Ekiden: A long-distance running relay race.
Oden: Japanese one-pot dish consisting of several ingredients stewed in broth.

Presentation at design-gaia 2017 (Japanese) on Nov. 6th.

Mr. Katoh had a research presentation at design-gaia 2017 (Japanese) in Kumamoto pref., Japan.

Imoni party on Oct. 15th.

We hold annual Imoni party at riverfront of Hirose-river. We enjoyed the Yamagata style Imoni.
Imoni: type of Taro and meat soup and popular in Yamagata pref. and Miyagi pref..

Congratulations party of Mastar's degree's entrance examination on Sep. 28th.

Mr. Oka and Mr. Chiba passed the entrance exam! So we hold the congratulations party. The party menu was beaf tongue.

2017 Tohoku-Section Joint Convention of Institutes of Electrical and Information Engineers, Japan on Sep. 6th and 7th.

Mr. Suda, Mr. Nishino and Mr. Mukaida had a research presentation at 2017 Tohoku-Section Joint Convention of Institutes of Electrical and Information Engineers at Hirosaki University, Japan.

Mr. Smithson flight back to Canada on Aug. 21th.

Mr. Smithson had finished the study abroad program from Jun and flight back to Canada. This is commemorative photo with laboratory's member. All the member wish him the best of luck.

Tennis meet on Jul. 9th.

We enjoyed tennis on beautiful sunny day.

Mr. Suda had a poster presentation at LSI and system workshop (Japanese) at Tokyo university.

Cherry-blossom viewing party on Mar. 14th.

We made a welcome party for laboratory's new members "Mr. Mukaida, Mr. Oka and Mr. Chiba" and Cherry-blossom viewing party. It's good timing for cherry-blossom viewing party because of full bloom!
