Congratulations to Mr. Suda, Mr. Nishino, and Mr. Mukaida for passing their master's thesis defence.

Presentations at the 32nd Multiple-Valued Logic and Its Applications Conference (Japanese) on Jan. 13th.

Mr. Chiba had a research presentation at the 32nd Multiple-Valued Logic and Its Applications Conference (Japanese) at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan.

End of the Year Party on Dec. 19th.

We are thankful that we got to spend another wonderful year with everyone at the lab, and look back fondly on this year's international conference.

12/13 CSRN-Osaka Warkshop

Dr. Suzuki had a poster presentation at the CSRN-OSAKA Annual Workshop 2018 in Osaka, Japan.

ICECS2018 on Dec. 11th.

Mr. Nishino had a research presentation at the 25th IEEE International Conference on Electronics Circuits and Systems in Bordeaux, France.

An Invited Talk at Design-Gaia 2018 (Japanese) on Dec. 5th.

Dr. Hanyu was invited to talk at the Design-Gaia 2018 in Hiroshima, Japan.

Laboratory Opposition Ekiden Convention ＆ Oden Party on Nov. 10th.

We attended the annual Ekiden Convention along with the Sato and Horio labs.
There we won the lucky prize and consolation prize!
Ekiden: A long-distance running relay race.
Oden: Japanese one-pot dish consisting of several ingredients stewed in broth.

Brainware Engineering Study Seminar (Japanese) on Nov. 9th.

We held a joint seminar with the Ishiguro-Kano Laboratory, Shioiri Laboratory, and Horio Laboratory. In our laboratory, Mr. Suda, Mr. Nishino and Mr. Mukaida had a short presentation and poster presentation.

Imoni Party on Oct. 13th.

We held our annual Imoni party. Thankfully, this day had pleasant weather and clear skies.

Research Institute of Electrical Communication Public Outreach (Japanese) on Oct. 6th and 7th.

We ran a booth explaining our research, and were delighted by children's enthusiasm.

SSDM 2018 on Sep. 12th.

Dr. Hanyu, Dr. Natsui, and Dr. Suzuki had a research presentation at SSDM in Tokyo University, Japan.

2018 Tohoku-Section Joint Convention of the Institutes of Electrical and Information Engineers, Japan on Sep. 6th.

Dr. Suzuki and Mr. Chiba had a research presentation at the Tohoku-Section Joint Convention of the Institutes of Electrical and Information Engineers at Iwate University, Japan.

End of Training A Party on Jun 27th.

We held an end of training party for our 4th year undergraduate students.
This year we also held a party in honor of our international student Sean, where we enjoyed conversation in Japanese and English.

ISMVL2018 on May 15th.

Mr. Suda and Mr. Mukaida had a research presentation at ISMVL2018 in Johannes Kepler Univ Lintz, Austria.

Cherry-Blossom Viewing Party on Apr. 9th

We held a welcome party for our lab's new members Mr. Arakawa, Mr. Shin, and Mr. Yamagishi, as well as a cherry-blossom viewing party. We held this party a little earlier than usual, since it got warm early this year.
